Officer Nominations - Elections in June. Ever been interested in holding a Council office? On the front of this newsletter there is a whole list of council officer’s, all of which are up for election each year (except two trustee positions, the Financial Secretary, Lecturer and Chaplin). If you are a 3rd degree member and interested in one of the offices, please contact one of the trustees.
There is a 1st Degree scheduled for Monday, April 17th at the hall. Candidates should be there at 7pm with the Degree to start at 7:30 pm. If you have candidates please contact PGK Webb Coates at 364-7533.
Annual Family Steak Fry Dinner, Clergy Appreciation and Membership Drive
As you can see, our chef has selected only the choicest cuts of beef for this year’s steak fry dinner. Dinner will be served from 6 – 7:30pm on Thursday, May 11th. Cost is $12 per person or $30 for a family. You must RSVP no later than May 8th by contacting Dave Tokarski (985-4670) or GK Gale Messing at (364-6963). We have also invited a number of clergy to join us for dinner. In this small way, we would like to say thank you for all their hard work, dedication and service they give the Church. Also a Sam’s Club representative will be on hand that night to field any inquiries about Sam’s Club or their club memberships.
Spring Cleaning Starts at 7 a.m., May 13
Be sure to come to the hall on Saturday, May 13 for our annual hall cleanup. Tables, chairs, walls, almost anything that is tied down or not is going to get the “Mr. Clean” treatment.
The 74th Annual Corporate Communion and Quad-District Rally will be hosted by the Memphis Council #10501 on Sunday, April 23rd at Holy Family Church in Memphis. If you haven’t attended one of these rallies you are in for a visual and emotional treat. Brother Knights from the four districts will assemble at the Memphis Lions Youth Center at 6:45 am and at 7:30 am proceed in unison to the Church for Mass. Breakfast immediately following 8:00 a.m. Mass. If you plan on attending please contact GK Gail Messing at 364-6963 or Mike O’Brien at 334-3222 by April 10th. Cost is $10 per person.

Council Scholarships Offered
There are 2 scholarships being offered ($500 each) to a senior boy and girl this year. Applications are made available through Marysville H.S. or by contacting Will DeVeny (334-7648) or PGK Rich Clark (388-0566). April 20th is the last day to enter applications.
