Annual Steak Fry Dinner and Clergy Appreciation
This year’s Steak Fry had 92 members, guests and Clergy coming out and enjoying a wonderful meal. It was great having Fr. Jeff, Fr. .James , Sr. Gloria and Deacon John Conners join us. “Thank you” to all who helped make it a success especially the Ladies Auxiliary for the decorations, set up and desserts.
Council & Auxiliary Family Picnic
Please mark Sunday, August 13 on your calendar for our annual joint family picnic in Marysville Park. This is a good time to invite potential new members and their families to come out and socialize. All the action starts at noon and goes to 5. Just bring a dish to pass, your place setting and a chair – the meat and beverages will be provided. We will be at pavilion number 4 in the park across from the train.
This year we will also need someone to step up as chairman for the picnic. If you can help out please contact Rick Goodmen for details on the project.
Officers Installation – Ice Cream Social
The installation of officers will be at 6:30pm on Monday, July 10th before the regular membership meeting. The Auxiliary is providing an ice cream social after the membership meeting.
Corporate Communion with the Council and Ladies Auxiliary will be on Sunday, July 2 at the 8:00 am. Mass at St. Christopher’s. All members and families are welcome to join together in the celebration of the Eucharist.
As a group, we will sit in the front 5 rows on both sides of the alter. See if you can get to church a few minutes early to sit in our group sections.
